Just like the title "Choice", every moment that you have lived until now are because of the choices that you've made. There will never be a right or wrong choices in life because if you made a choice that you think is 'right' and ended up regretting it in the future, you'll say, "I made the wrong choice to...". But was it really wrong? Or it's just you setting your mind thinking that because it didn't go how you've planned, it was a wrong choice to make? Thing about making choices is that, no matter what you choose, it all will start with our mindset.

Our mindset plays a very important role in life. The moment you set your mind, that mind will determine your choice. It's a general thing honestly. Read in any kinds of motivational or inspirational genre books, it'll say the same thing. Because it's true. If you set your mind to negative thoughts such as, "I can't do this." "I will fail." Any of your choices will eventually turn out the way you don't want it to go. Before saying negative things, thing about why you think so. What makes it so sure about what you think knowing that you haven't even try or give your best shot yet? If you can't answer those with a valid reason, then you know where to start first. Changing your mindset in order to change your choice. The reason why I wanted to talk about "Choice" was because of my studies. It was a going well and then went downhill (it was more of a flop honestly). Because my grades flopped badly, I didn't know what to further my studies in and ended up choosing the mass communication field. The first year of going into that that field, I kept on asking myself if it was a good choice and kept regretting choosing it as well as messing up my grades real bad ( I had a reason for that too).

But then, out of nowhere it kind of just came to me that I guess it was a good choice that I went into the mass communication field. Why? Because I'm an introvert and literally the quietest person in my family. If I go with my parents to their friend's house, I never get into the conversations like how my sisters does. Some of my parent's friends even asked why I took mass com and not my sister who was a lot more relevant of a person to be in the field. That time I didn't know the answer and just laughed it off knowing that I was also asking myself the same thing. Ever since I went into the mass com field, I could see myself improving socially. Like how I need to interview people that's out of my comfort circle or speaking in Bahasa Melayu fully (it was more of a 75% English -25% Bahasa). In the end, I changed my mindset of regretting getting into this field to a self-improving my social skills or discover new skills field. This is why there is no right or wrong choice because it all comes from the mindset.

[[Also, reminder as a Muslim, if there's a choice that's needed to be chosen, there's a prayer we call Salat-al-Istikhara. A prayer for guidance. Most of us kept forgetting that we have Allah to seek guidance from and ended up being in a despair when there's no human being able to help you out. Ask from Him because He will always be there with you to guide you. If He does not give the answer immediately, it only means you're not ready for what's coming. He knows what's best for you.]]
